Trypophobia Is A Real, Terrifying Thing, And You Definitely Have It!

Just a few days ago, I was browsing my Pinterest and came across some photos of objects with small holes in it, which lead me to google more since I found Youtube videos of people creating effects of small holes on their skin with make-up. There I was completely grossed out by it, yet intrigued to try it myself.

Since I had just finished Uni for this year and had all of my Special FX goodies with me at home, I got right to it. Honestly I was pretty uncomfortable having it on my face.

I started by spreading some flesh toned Ben Nye Scar Wax on the side of my face. I tried spreading it out with a scalpel and tabbing it with some creme to avoid it from sticking everywhere. I surrounded the areas of wax with 3 layers of Liquid Latex and dried that with a hairdrier ready for creating this ripped skin effect. I created the holes in the wax with different sized ends of my brushes. Then I started to color everthing with my Skin Illustrator palette using different reds and yellows and skin tones. I pulled the latex off my sking with tweezers and laid some fake blood underneath the edges. That was about it.
