Summer is here and it's the first time I've stayed in UK longer than May. I usually finish with University around the first week of May and since I've always been homesick, I've escaped back home as soon as possible. It's almost June now and I'm still here. The weather in south is incredible, the sun is out until 6pm, nights are long and warm and the nature is blooming.
James lives in a small town called Bursledon, which is the most adorable place with all of it's tiny doll houses, proper pubs and an incredible marina. He is still in school so I've been spending a lot of time visiting him here and I love it. It's so calm and beautiful, just going for a walk or wandering around the secret forests here is a lovely adventure.
It's the long bank holiday weekend this week and we had decided to sail to Isle of Wight for a night out. Sailing from here to Isle of Wight took us around 2 hours, which was the perfect time to enjoy the sun and relax on the yacht. Me and 5 best trained mariners in the world as James says, I even had a go at driving the boat and crashed into a big boui...

As we got there, me and the five sailors obviously stopped at the very first pub, I found Cowes very nice with all of it's narrow streets, naval pubs and cute restaurants. I found it incredibly enjoyable seeing live acoustic music in every single place we went to, it turns out that Ed Sheeran is from Isle of Wight as well. We had the very best time and got back to Bursledon very late at night. I was way too tired to stay up and was snoozing in the cabin the whole way back.
