Artist Inspo: Ryan Burke

Ryan Burke is one of my absolute favorite make-up artists in the world. His innovative ideas and artistic, experimental looks are just something from a whole another world. He started as a photographer, taking self-portraits before going to avant-garde parties in NY or LA. Soon he made enough connections to take it to a whole another level, adding costumes and head-pieces to make his autoportraits stand out from everything we've seen before.

One of the things I appreciate the most regarding artists and make-up artists, is the difference they make. It's very difficult to do something that hasn't been done nowadays, and somehow Mr. Burke has just created this whole new artistic wave. You can see inspiration from drags, but done in it's own weird fashionable key! Take a look at yourself!

Ryan Burke on üks minu absoluutseid lemmikuid meigikunstnikke maailmas. Tema innovaatilised ideed ja ekperimentaalsed kunstiteosed on midagi justkui hoopis teiselt planeedilt. Ta alustas fotograafina, pildistades iseendast kunstilisi autoportreesid enne avant-garde drag-pidudele minemist New Yorkis ja Los Angeleses. Juba varsti oli tal piisavalt häid tutvusi, et tuua oma kunst hoopis teisele tasemele, lisades ehteid, temale disainitud kostüüme või peaehteid. Nii erines ta kõigest, mida keegi kunagi näinud oli!

Üks asi, mis on minu jaoks väga oluline igasuguste kunstnike puhul, on see kuidas nad suudavad teistest erineda. On väga keeruline luua midagi, mida kunagi varem pole tehtud. Kuidagimoodi on aga Mr.Burke suutnud luua täiesti uue kunstilise suuna, mis on ilmselgelt inspireeritud drag-idest, kuid täiesti omas võtmes. Vaadake ise allpool!
