30 Days of Writing Challenge - Day 29

Day 29 - What are you looking forward to in the next 30 days?

I am looking forward to work on my Major Project and it will be amazing, I am recreating advertisements from 19th century, 1930s, 1970 and 21st century. I am going to make a humongous pink wig and lots of cool make-up designs. But the whole point of this project is to prove how terrible the beauty advertising used to be in the history and how innocent it is nowadays compared to that, you probably don't know that yet but I'm quite anti-feminist and I'm strictly going against all of the feminism in today's world. I am going to work with my favourite graphic designer in the world - Pauline Marie Korp, and it's going to look awesome! I will definitely share those images with you when done.

Another thing I'm looking forward to is James, he's away on the sea again, but he's coming back in a week to spend Valentine's Day with me! At the moment he is literally stuck in Morocco, the port is closed due to a swell and they aren't moving anywhere! I hope to get him back to myself soon...definitely looking forward to Valentine's Day!

I am looking forward to the Bonobo concert in London on 26th of February. Those of you who have followed my challenge, know that he's my favorite artist and this is going to be my 3rd time seeing him live! EXITING....

In February I am also going to do quite a few collaborations with new and exiting brands, so keep your eyes out for that. This is something I never imagined when I started with this blog, I thought it was going to take million years to actually collaborate with brands I loved. But no, here I am now exited to tell you that it's happening and I'm going to surprise you with those very soon.

Since I promised to share some snaps from today's Barbie shoot with you, here they are! Cutest shoot ever, absolutely loved my little denim dress and my make-up by Rhiannon Philips, photography by Erin Sharp. Also looking forward to those finalised photos!

Päev 29 - Millised ootused on sul järgmisele 30'nele päevale?

Ootused...Kindlasti ootan oma lõpuprojekti ja et saaks sellega juba tegelema hakata, kuna siiani pole mul üldse aega olnud. Oma lõpuprojektiks toon ma uuesti ellu ajaloolised reklaamipostrid nii 19nendast sajandist, 1930nendatest, 70ndatest ja 21sest sajandist. Mõte seisneb selles, et igasugused ilu propageerivad reklaamid ajaloos olid nii kohutavad, rassistlikud ja seksistlikud, et no tule jumal appi. Seda te vist veel ei teagi, et ma ei poolda mingisugust feminismi, seega oponeerib minu projekt tänapäeva feminismile. Loon sellise visuaalse võrdluse erinevate perioodide ilustandardite vahel. Kohe kindlasti koon ma selle jaoks ühe suure roosa paruka ja teen palju kihvte meigidisaine, ju te siis varsti näete. Töötan koos oma lemmiku disaineriga maailmas, kelleks on loomulikult Pauline Marie Korp. Igaltahel ootan põnevusega!

Teine asi, mida ma väga ootan, on see, et James lõpuks merelt tagasi tuleks. Umbes nädala aja pärast saab ta Valentini päevaks koju sõita, jee.. Praegu on ta kusjuures kinni Mehhikos, sest, et suurte lainete tõttu on sadam suletud ja nad ei saa sealt mitte kuhugi liikuda. Täiesti kohutav, ma tean. Ja no otseloomulikult ootan Valentinipäeva, kuna siin tähistatakse seda veidi teistsuguses võtmes kui Eestis ja see on lihtsalt nii armas ja põnev.

Veebruaris võite oodata ka palju üllatusi. Nimelt seisab ees paar koostööd mõndade väga lahedate brändidega. Ma ei oleks kusjuures kunagi arvanud, et selline asi enne miljonit aastat tõeks võib saada. Aga näete siin ma olen põnevil teile teatada, et hoidke silmad lahti, varsti näete paljusid ägedaid koostööprojekte.

Kuna lubasin teile tänasest Barbie-photoshootist pilte jagada, siis siin need on. Fotograaf Erin Sharp pildistas siis mind nn. inim-barbiena, meigi tegi Rhiannon Phillips. Pildistamine oli väga lõbus ja loomulikult armusin sellese armsasse teksakleiti täitsa ära!
